Storyboard

The story boards for our music video:
We planned to have a slow start with narrative shots that show the two main characters in the relationships "fun" memories and places etc that establish the locations and the fact that the two main characters were in a relationship. This will lead up to the idea that (according to the lyrics) something bad (a breakup) would happen and the it had established something that was to be broken down.
After the slow start, we planned to have the video start to pick up the pace and speed up the edit with the insertion of band shots, as it crescendos and leads up to the peak of the music video which is where the two main characters breakup/have an argument. After the breakup/argument (during the chorus/peak) the bridge (troth) of the song comes and is much slower paced, and so will have a slower edit with more lonely shots of the main character (Jamie), and the occasional flashback to memories, or to him in locations that were of importance to the relationship and the music video.
Throughout the music video, the tempo of the music video sets the tempo of the edit, and whether there are fast edits or slow long more drawn out shots.
